Re: Serious Business: Semi-Casual Amalgamation of Semi-Competitive Players. - Master Shake - 06-06-2008 Count me in... I don't have any specialties really, I usually just play whatever class no one is playing. If it's all full though I guess I play pyro mostly. As for availability....basically every night. Weekends not so much, but I could stay home with prior notice. I'm tired of waiting around. Hell, I'll help to a degree. Re: Serious Business: Semi-Casual Amalgamation of Semi-Competitive Players. - Kor - 06-07-2008 Alright, alright, the email is away to the leader of [TC]. I hoping for a reply post-haste, so that we can get a match date to work towards. In the meantime, I'm scheduling the first of several scouting scrims for this upcoming Wednesday(June 11th) at 8pm. Wednesday has recently opened up for usage(RIP TQ), I hope I can see the server packed to capacity to evaluate as many people as possible. The scrims will held for approximately 2 hours, as I'd like to have several map types used, and multiple class evaluations. Alltalk will be turn off for the scrims, and I will be having all participants playing their worst class at least once. If your talking about the [TC] scrim, in the email I suggested we take it as close to league as possible; most likely its 8v8, with class restrictions, and possibly no crits. [/quote] K. How about the brb scrimmage where you're spectating? Would it be the same? Or 12v12 (crits y/n) due to the sheer number of people apping? Re: Serious Business: Semi-Casual Amalgamation of Semi-Competitive Players. - Wedge - 06-07-2008 I dunno about any league bullshit, but I'd like to have it at least be 10v10, just coz' I like the potential for at least one of every class to be there. And is crit enable/disable universal? Just coz' if they're off, I'd think melee crits should stay on. Crits are universal, I believe it even disables krubers, which I actually disagree with since you give up the ability to uber for it Re: Serious Business: Semi-Casual Amalgamation of Semi-Competitive Players. - cannedpeahes - 06-07-2008 Personally, I'd like to give this some organization and coherency before we start bustin' on TC, or anybody for that matter. I just like to know I'm in a clan (read:Semi-Casual Amalgamation of Semi-Competitive Players) before I want to get dragged into a scrim. If I was intended to be in one, anyways. Re: Serious Business: Semi-Casual Amalgamation of Semi-Competitive Players. - cannedpeahes - 06-08-2008 Brilliant backronyms. Re: Serious Business: Semi-Casual Amalgamation of Semi-Competitive Players. - ZoSo - 06-09-2008 I'm going to be first to complain about this clan name. BAL-SACK is entirely too long. We need to shorten this up and I feel the word choice is random. My Idea: Anyone with a physical dictionary go to the B's and go to "Ba" and list out all the words starting with Ba that are less than 5 letters in length I figure BA is a good start but the rest is just random shit to create a dick joke, I don't want my clan to revolve around a dick joke. I tried to search an online dictionary with "ba*.*" but I couldn't get a list of words on the site I tried. Lets get a list and try and figure out a different meaning. Anyone else agree? |
