yeah the problem with that is it could theoretically create something a year down the road so i was thinking something like creating an if ( number > 25 || number < 120 ) { code that makes drop happen at x% } or something like that so it can happen anywhere form 25 minutes past the last one to 120 minutes past. there is probably a way to limit the rand() function anyway and i dont know of it.
Uh there's a lot of ways, usually giving rand() no argument by default in C is a floating point number between 1 and 100, if you wanted between 1 - 10 you would just do rand(10), there's any number of things you could do to get what you want out of it, personally I like modulus Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - beep beep diglett - 07-07-2010 gongkt got hacked http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3324612&pagenumber=36#lastpost guy who is accused of hacked him and destroyed the wrench made a facebook group THUNDERDOME 2 ENGI ENTER, 1 ENGI LEAVES Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Maxon - 07-07-2010 Man I hope I don't get a wrench now. Gonna be a nightmare. They shouldn't have announced who got one lol Makes them prime targets for hacks and trolls. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - beep beep diglett - 07-07-2010 like 3 people who got the wrench now have THE WRENCH IS A CURSE in their name, tons more have set their profile to private Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Turtle - 07-07-2010 Engi is new offensive class Scout can be in Annoying class Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - backfire - 07-07-2010 according to his profile, he got the wrench back. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Darklink - 07-07-2010 drunken fool got vac'd because he made a program to craft at the exact time lol Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - backfire - 07-07-2010 (07-07-2010, 06:25 PM)fifty¢ link Wrote: drunken fool got vac'd because he made a program to craft at the exact time lol :-\ well... that explains a lot I guess. Also, poor excuse for an update. A picture of a map and a picture of a wrench... GIMMI WORDS DAMMIT! Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - PyroZombie - 07-07-2010 The newspaper is gone and fresh blueprint paper is up. Dell isn't using Radigan's sentries, He is getting inspiration from Radigan's designs and creating new ones. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Kirby - 07-07-2010 I have a raging hardon for this update, fyi. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Surf314 - 07-07-2010 I thought the wrangler was OP until I realized the engineer couldn't control it and reload at the same time. Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - PyroZombie - 07-07-2010 I have a new theory, this is a tiny bit insane so prepare the tin-foil. What if Dell is not actually Dell? There is no mention of the engineer's father, just his grandfather. What if the 3rd not-dying machine belongs to Radigan and he is posing as different members of the supposed Conagher family? It would make sense beyond all end, why not build a infinite life machine for yourself? Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Coppanuva - 07-07-2010 Hey guys, look at this! www.teamfortress.com/engineerupdate/engineer_photos/ Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - beep beep diglett - 07-07-2010 im hoping the wrench lets you build a new type of sentry but watch my dreams be crushed and its a generic wrench that uncloaks spies or builds faster or something NVM that owns so hard i want to cart my sentry around where ever i go sentry buddy :3 Re: Updates of the Week (ongoing discussion) - Vlambo - 07-07-2010 Moveable sentry.
