Welp, to top off everything that game is bringing, Skyrim will basically have a random question generator, so after you've done every single mission in the game, you can keep playing the game, with a never-ending supply of quests.  It's a game that will never be beat :O

I bet its stuff like "go kill x amount of dudes" or "collect x amount of stuff".
[/quote]"this guy fucked your wife, go kill him." "this guy was in the catacombs having sex with our corpses, go kill him.)

Re: TES V: Skyrim - Maxon - 11-09-2011

Yeah it'll be simple stuff, but it's still never-ending quests after you beat all the good quests.

Quote: I’ll admit, I’m in the camp that believes Bethesda’s games have been on a downward slide since the hallowed Morrowind. I got plenty out of Oblivion (especially the thieves’ and assassins’ guilds arcs) but it did feel hollow, bland and awkward compared to its predecessor. Fallout 3 I found boring, contrived and clumsy, though I deeply wanted to like it. I seriously worried Skyrim would, for all its talk of lavishness, depth and dragons, continue the transformation into a trudging, consolified action game filled with clunky acting. It does not. It slams on the brakes then reverses at dangerous speed back into Morrowind territory.

That's the best possible thing I could hear about this game.

Nice.

We are as close as we've ever been now.

Re: TES V: Skyrim - Mission Difficult - 11-10-2011

Pretty cool so far.  8)

Re: TES V: Skyrim - Sogo - 11-11-2011

Just got my hard copy of Skyrim, everyone there was pretty cool, except one (Forty year old) guy who got angry at a girl half his size for bringing up that he pretty much RAN HER OVER.
Watch out, we're dealing with a badass here! (Complete with spiked hair and Tapout hoodie)

Prepurchase physical disc at gamestop, paid off in full.

Went to the midnight release holding up a sign saying "Hiring for The Dark Brotherhood" and under it "(Shh, it's a secret Big Grin)". People got some good chuckles and I a copy of skyrim.

because consoles. honestly, the right way to do pc releases now is like rocksteady and capcom do, delay pc release by a month or two or however many you need. right now it's shoddy because they pressure from the publisher to release them at the exact same time as the console versions.

Re: TES V: Skyrim - Eschatos - 11-11-2011

How to steal in Skyrim

Interesting bug.

Re: TES V: Skyrim - [SiN] Merc - 11-11-2011

Wouldn't be a Bethesda game without rampant crashing after you haven't saved in over an hour.  :'(

Re: TES V: Skyrim - Moosendoo - 11-11-2011

I was literally in the middle of typing this about how pissed I was that UPS didn't come today (they usually come in the morning) and then I heard my dog barking at the truck coming down the driveway.   Smile

EDIT: Okay, so I get to my first town and immediately try to kill a chicken...  Whole town attacks me.
