Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Reevesith - 07-20-2012

Grabbed the fear pack, been wanting to play it. Brother-in-law claimed he has the first one around here somewhere but that was months ago.

I think so far the most spookie thing I've run into the game sofar is a guy doing a 360 crouch roll in place & anothing guy doing a mooning with both hands in the air

I.O.U. matter11 & tracedarkwind a icon/spray for their kindness earlier.

It is not a problem at all, this link has everything you'll need to do to fix it.

Yea, that is pretty important. Otherwise, the game will crash at random.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Evil Cheese - 07-20-2012

So far I've purchased:

Anno 2070
EYE
Legend of Grimrock
Limbo
Magicka
Saints Row 2

Although it wasn't offered on Steam, I also picked up To the Moon off of GOG on sale as well.

That's probably already too many for my ever growing backlog. There have been a few others that I was tempted with, but decided against like Witcher 2.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - matter11 - 07-20-2012

I've bought 21 games  Sad

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Eschatos - 07-20-2012

Picked up Crysis Wars so I can finally play Mechwarrior again.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Maxon - 07-20-2012

Added Krater and Red Orchestra 2 to my list today.  Swore I was done till Day Z, but Day Z is pissing me off by not getting a sale lol

Agreed. So far I have picked up Payday, Dead Space 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Borderlands GOTY. Is Fallout:NV worth it?

Also, I forgot I bought Just Cause 2, even tho I'm still on XP. It was like, 8bux with all the DLC. I just bought Fallout:NV ultimate last night too because fuck it I've waited long enough :V.
I still hasn't played Just Cause 2 either same reason, but I had mine way back during the x-mas sale I think I traded a pair of tags & a hat to Karrde or Karth [started with a k ], one of those 4 pack deal. o-o I hear its fun.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Maxon - 07-21-2012

40% for ARMA2:CO...Those dicks.  That's like the weakest daily deal sale yet lol It's older than most of the games that are getting 60 to 75% off lol

Lesson in capitalism: why put it 60% off when people will buy the shit out of it at 40% off?

I do find it interesting that they're saying DayZ requires combined operations now instead of just Arrowhead. Was that always the case?

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Maxon - 07-21-2012

I know it was a few weeks back when I checked the website, it said it required CO to be playable.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Versus - 07-21-2012

i'm surprised it's a daily deal at all considering it's had a good spot throughout the entire sale

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Moosendoo - 07-21-2012

50% off was the most I was going to pay.  Looks like I'm going to have to pass.

nevermind.  commish convinced me to get it

It has always required both Arma 2 and OA. Combined Operations is just both of them in one package.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Coppanuva - 07-22-2012

So I ended up passing on Combined Ops, not a heavy enough discount for me since I'm typically not a fan of realistic FPS games since they make me rage. Finally picked up Batman Franchise Pack though based on my batman high from Dark Knight Rises (which I got out of 30 minutes after the deal was put up). Looking forward to finally trying AA.

I am unique in that I wanted Arma to actually play Arma.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012 - Reevesith - 07-22-2012

Isn't this like the second or third time Bastion was in the today's deal? or more or less seems like all past Flash deals are today's deal :u

I was also heavily enticed by the idea of a realistic shooter when I learned about it. I haven't tried it yet, but do people actually populate the stock servers?
