I'm pretty sure everyone knows who Raheem's captain, and how to PM. But in case you don't PM Tim.

Oh and post what you decide here so we can make our plans. I'm getting atom to steal a lot of popcorn for this.

Re: Jan 2010 Tournament: Welcome to the BRB Superbowl! - Radio Raheem - 01-26-2010

Re: Jan 2010 Tournament: Welcome to the BRB Superbowl! - Chief - 02-02-2010

0-5 for Team Raheem. Congrats to them for winning the contest.

But yeah, kinda hope the next tournament gets to be more competitive than the way it started out for this one. I just thought it was a joke at first, then surprisingly turned into a tourney thing. I'm not good in tourneys - I choke easily. This one I choked harrrrrrrd. ._.

CDN-BAMFS - As Nitrous said it, best non-scrim team! Big Grin

We should give out small trophies for everybody who lost, with a witty sentance of what they won

Re: Jan 2010 Tournament: Welcome to the BRB Superbowl! - backfire - 02-02-2010

Well, I had a higher score ringing while ringing for team canada then the rest of the actual members... so I say nomic > canada ^-^

Or the fact that Funbucks pretty much carries us.

And he fucking falls off the face of the earth. No Steam answer, no MSN answer, so I text him. No answer, so then I fucking call him. No answer. He'd better have a good reason, or I'm never talking to him again. :'(

But yeah, Canada is the best non-comp team. ;D

Also, next tourney, prevent teams like Raheem plz. This is supposed to be friendly, not a rape-everyone-in-the-face-with-non-brbu-members tourney. I think Caff yelled at me for something similar (RapeSalamence) in the Pokemon tourney. Wink

(Sure, Honest, Radio, and Duck can all be on a team, but fill it with BRBU members, not random scrim guys)

They weren't "random", they were like all ex-BNGD, minus me, and plus Tim's e-gfriend.

But... yeah, I vote "yes" on !votescramble.

Re: Jan 2010 Tournament: Welcome to the BRB Superbowl! - Surf314 - 02-02-2010

I didn't realize Tim's team was comp and found out after. I should have talked to him up front, he realized later they were going to outmatch people but wasn't going to throw games just because. So yea Team Canada did really well and so did everyone else. I hope everyone had fun and will want to play again for the next round.

And to answer your question we are going to have draft similar to the way they have them in sports. So I need to know which captains are staying on and which want to let someone else do it. I'd prefer one person be captain from each existing team though, this will still be our second community ladder and I don't want to shake things up too much and start from scratch.

Re: Jan 2010 Tournament: Welcome to the BRB Superbowl! - Odin - 02-03-2010

I'm staying captain of brosquad.  Zane and Hobo are authorized to act on my behalf on matters concerning scheduling.

Can our team roster become larger for next season?  I for one know that with only six people to draw on we usually had a few offline.  I think it would greatly benefit to have larger teams to make finding subs a lot quicker and easier.  Not suggesting the team size ingame be bigger, just the number of people we can have to draw on should be bigger than six, because people have lives and its tough to get all six online.

Sounds good.

Yeah, you owned me in every single scout vs. scout battle we had. I had 10 or 11 deaths before anyone else on my team had died even once.

You actually had two decent kills on him where you out-aimed him, so not every single time.

Where Backfire dominated was utility. He had more backcaps and attempted backcaps than any other player. The combo had to back up multiple times to stop him. He is a smart scout, no doubt.

Not sure who was playing pocket, but every time your medic died he died totally alone. Either he was just losing the players, or nobody was trying to work with him. Radio barely left his pocket the whole game. Something to think about.
