(Piranhas is not one of these.) It's a good movie, and you watch movies for the ride anyway. I like everyone complaining about James Cameron's storytelling, and he's not really known for good stories outside of Terminator and Titanic. (Which we knew the story of Titanic, but what made it engrossing was the tale of everything that happened between the characters on the ship, which obviously we didn't know.) I also applaud whoever the makeup artist was for Sam Worthington, his legs looked exactly like a paraplegic's legs. Re: The Movie Thread - KarthXLR - 08-28-2010 Scott Pilgrim was just as good as it was the first time. ;D Re: The Movie Thread - Maxon - 08-28-2010 Quote: Merc link=topic=947.msg171413#msg171413 date=1283029323]Also: Watched Princess Bride last night. Old, but for the children that haven't seen it; it's glorious. Great movie. Something that people will need to show their kids for a hundred years to come. Such a classic. Re: The Movie Thread - Eightball - 08-29-2010 k, just got back from seeing Scott Pilgrim. Was ok, I guess. But if I have to see or listen to any more hipsters I swear to god I will snap. I've seen it twice and haven't seen nor heard one. I guess Arizona's hipster-free! Also, The Gods Must Be Crazy was surprisingly good.
