Working on a Dodge/Crit monk. Seems to be working fairly well.

Yea, I've been reading up and it looks like the only way to build a monk right now is IAS and LoH with a ton of resists and armor. Also drops in this game are shit.

That's because they're influenced by what's going on in the auction house. Items that sell for more drop less frequently.

Just total numbers brosef, just search Stormshield in the AH for an idea.

Neutering the one reason people played the previous version to death was an amazing design choice. Buy Gold Find gear, farm Royal Crypt pots. It's the only way to even get gear now. Farming for what you want is impossible - you can only farm for what others want. Even if you get a decent item, remember this; You're now competing with another 100 items just like it, and it's supposed value is decided based upon how soon you'd like to see it sold.

Diablo 3 AH: The newest example of how overwhelming supply doesn't drive down pricing due to entitlement.

Re: Diablo 3 - Moosendoo - 06-06-2012

Looks like patch 1.03 is going to be pretty awesome.  Smoother inferno difficulty curve, better high-level item drop rates, no more stupid increased enemy damage in coop, actual punishment for dying (higher repair costs).

Yeah I dunno about the inferno nerfs. Cleared act 2 inferno earlier and what a pain in the ass Belial can be in that fight. First champion pack in Act3 annihilated me with no chance of kiting for more than about 2 seconds. Going to try and clear as much of inferno as I can before the nerfs but honestly I think a ramp up in difficulty is much better than a brick wall.

I know they are about to patch it so you can cancel auctions at any time...but check this out. GG Blizz.

How To Cancel Any Auction

It really does work too.

Re: Diablo 3 - Surf314 - 06-13-2012

So anyone planning on earning real money at the RMAH?

Re: Diablo 3 - Trace - 06-13-2012

I'm curious to try it but I haven't reached the point in the game where I have anything to offer  :p

I would not mind seeing how it actually works, because I am not sure if it will make me pay money to set up auctions.  If not, then hells yeah I want to

Re: Diablo 3 - Kor - 06-22-2012

What a trainwreck of a patch. In a feeble attempt to balanced an already sundered economy, they further dilute the item drops, guaranteeing that your play time and ability to generate gold mean even less. Long live the RMAH, the true master of Diablo 3.

Yep.  Went from finding a steady stream of ilvl 61+ items in A3 to finding a plethora of ilvl 50's junk.

EDIT: There is apparently some hope in this regard.

They only saving grace in all this is they admit to the problem. But sweet merciful cunts, they're botching everything meant to fix the game.
