She never stops meowing btw, if your in the room, if your out of the room, if she has food, if she doesn't has food. SHE NEVER STOPS MEOWING. I really hope that doesn't mean there's something (physically) wrong with her. :-\ [/quote] Nah some cats are just meowers. My black cat is and he trained all the others to meow for attention as well. I've actually read that house cats are smart enough to see that we communicate verbally and meow to try and communicate with us, then if we don't understand what they want to tell us they will actually start to meow slower and louder. Re: The wonderful thing about cats (post your pets) - CaffeinePowered - 12-17-2009 You named your cat catgirl? Ya but we used the Japanese pronunciation, we usually just call her "Neko". (So essentially, we just call out cat "cat"). It's kind of funny. Re: The wonderful thing about cats (post your pets) - Luinbariel - 12-17-2009 If you literally JUST got this cat a few days ago or so, it's normal for her to meow all the time. Until they get used to everyone and everything in the house, they tend to be vocal. Especially if she's latched on to someone or something and she can't see it, she'll meow for it. Maybe even she still meows for her mom or her previous family, they do that too. She may settle down but otherwise it's like someone else said; some kitties just talk a lot.
