Been watching/reading the series for the past month. So good, but so stressful XD (I'm on Season 2, and every episode I always end up thinking "Oh shit, he's done for" XP)

They took the formula and instead of running from it they perfected it and presented it straight into your eyeballs in all it's cliche glory. You got the tech guy who is black, funny, hip AND nerdy with a lot of attitude because why not get the most from your character. You got the sexy british love interest grifter. You got the absolutely batshit insane cat burglar who is also hot. You got the martial arts expert badass who hates guns, kicks the shit out of scary serbians with kitchen utensils like it aint no thang, and he has a secret heart of gold because you know character economy again. Then to top it all off the leader is the goody goody everyman sympathetic character with a mechanical mind and an alcohol problem and a troubled past. Because of that character economy thing again.
Did I mention it was fucking awesome? Well if you aren't convinced yet the main character busts car windows on a whim because he CAN, and he is the good one.
