Was encouraged by like 5 senior leaders at work to apply for a new role that would be a promotion. Didn't get it. Maybe I shouldn't have asked for a $25k bump as a salary requirement ;P.

shaved my head but took the easy way out and used an electric razer. the resulting stubble produced an incredibly tractive surface (think the effect of having millions of tiny cleats on your scalp). drying my head was a pain, and i popped the seams in the neck on my tshirt trying to pull it over my head when it wouldnt budge

Today is my birthday, and just when i knew people would be calling to say hi i come out of the subway and ta-dah, no cellphone in my pocket, i didn't even noticed when someone took it out.
