ChainSaws - Sponson - 06-02-2009 Re: ChainSaws - fyre - 06-02-2009 wut Re: ChainSaws - Honest - 06-02-2009 Manliest of all Chainsaws. Re: ChainSaws - fyre - 06-02-2009 Oooooh....I see it now. Cool. Re: ChainSaws - Tragic Hero - 06-02-2009 To take this thread in a different direction, i never understood the fascination of a chainsaw in a zombie apocalypse scenario. You'd think with all the gore that splattered around that one might get infected if the gore got into any open cuts, in their mouth, or into the eye. Plus Chainsaws aren't really the lightest or most mobile of items Re: ChainSaws - Sponson - 06-02-2009 (06-02-2009, 08:56 PM)Tragic Hero link Wrote: To take this thread in a different direction, i never understood the fascination of a chainsaw in a zombie apocalypse scenario. You'd think with all the gore that splattered around that one might get infected if the gore got into any open cuts, in their mouth, or into the eye. Ditto, chainsaws are overrated. Fireaxes however, aren't. Also in L4D these guys are immune to the virus, as in, they get clawed by hunters and don't turn. Re: ChainSaws - Surf314 - 06-03-2009 Best part of My Name is Bruce is when Bruce passes up the wicked customized chainsaw because "to be honest they are just too fucking heavy." Re: ChainSaws - Eschatos - 06-03-2009 "Chains must be kept sharp to perform well. They become blunt rapidly if they touch soil, metal or stones. When blunt, they tend to produce powdery sawdust, rather than the longer, clean shavings characteristic of a sharp chain; a sharp saw also needs very little force from the operator to push it into the cut. Special hardened chains (made with tungsten carbide) are used for applications where soil is likely to contaminate the cut, such as for cutting through roots." Replace stone with bone, and you see the problem. Good luck killing zombies with a chainsaw that won't cut. Re: ChainSaws - copulatingduck - 06-03-2009 You know what's even better than a chainsaw? YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. except for maybe the gore part surf was talking about (fantastic movie there btw) Re: ChainSaws - WTF Joel - 06-03-2009 I'd still use a chainsaw o.o Bone doesn't dull the chain as much as you may think >.>; Re: ChainSaws - Totla - 06-03-2009 (06-03-2009, 10:52 AM)Metal Lemur Solid link Wrote: I'd still use a chainsaw o.o Bone doesn't dull the chain as much as you may think >.>;Good luck finding gas in a post apocalyptic world that's infested with zombies. And for every zombie you kill with it, hundreds, possibly thousands more will come to your location from hearing it. Re: ChainSaws - Squishy3 - 06-03-2009 Braindead is such an awesome movie, in the US it's called Dead Alive believe, I think it has the record for most fake blood used in a movie ever. It's also directed by Peter Jackson. KUNG FU ZOMBIE PRIEST FTW Re: ChainSaws - copulatingduck - 06-04-2009 Movie kicks all sorts of ass, it's pretty fantastic.
