Make sure you purchase one properly sized for your application. http://www.apc.com/tools/ups_selector/ The biggest drawback of a lead-acid UPS is that even if you don't use it much, they die after 4-5 years. The worst part is that they are built into the building from day-one, the two building wings are only there to hide them.
