Sir Hurfing von Durfington. - Cataract - 10-04-2009
I figured typing something other than "HELLO" would help my post stand out a bit. I guess that makes me a bit of a dick. I'm off to a great start.
Anyway, I'm Cataract, or Nick. I ended up going to the brbU servers by hearing about them from Aerox for TF Tuesdays and Firday Night Fights, and now I'm in there usually whenever I get a chance. I live over in New Jersey (as I have for my entire life), about 20 minutes out of NYC. If I'm not playing something on my computer (which is kinda shit-esque), I'm usually playing some sort of fighting game. I'm obsessed with fighting games, mainly the Street Fighter series. I've entered a tournament for HD Remix back in May, and got first. Since then, I've played in two SF4 tournaments and gotten 2nd and 3rd place.
But anyway, back to TF2. I usually play Soldier, but I try to pick up Demoman when I feel like switching things up a bit. I like to think that splash damage, as well as the ability to control crowds movement with a well placed rocket is much more satisfying than just shooting someone. Also, learning to rocket jump well is damn rewarding, even though I've got a long way to go with that.
Oh, and strawberry jam is better than grape jam.

I also have SFIV, but i don't quite like it that much because it's broken as hell (and has some balance issues), it's fun, but no to play competitively (does that word exists? dunno, now it exists).. i also play BlazBlue, but..uuh..i don't have it ;D. Just when a friend pops up with it.
Aaaalso, do you play on 2df/GGPO? That's where real men gather :3

Damn right I do! I usually get on GGPO for Super Turbo, and I use 2DF for Magical Drop 3, Metal Slug, or anything else. Username on both of those is Cataract. I think I need to forward ports again for 2DF so I can host. I know I've done it before, but I think I had to reset my router since then.

I play mostly on 2df, and i play mostly ST, 3-3 and random Neogeo games, like Breaker's Revenge, most KoFs and..well.. every fighting game that's on the server if i'm on the mood :3, nick on 2df is the same. Also, add me on Steam as well, Vongore there too
