been havin some internet troubles - Negate - 12-13-2009
Some random sites don't come up for me including warez so I did a tracert and got this
Code: Tracing route to warez-bb.org [119.42.146.34]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

It claims to time out and looking at this I can kind of see why but what I can't see is how to fix it.
Re: been havin some internet troubles - zaneyard - 12-13-2009
set the hop count higher in the trace with -h

Re: been havin some internet troubles - HeK - 12-13-2009
You my friend, have a routing loop.
It's the Internet version of 'how to keep a moron busy, see other side'.
As your packets transverse a dynamic path across the world, at one point a router has been mis-configured and directs traffic to another router, which simply routes back to the last.
This is out of your control and it will either eventually fix it's self, or will have to be manually corrected by an administrator.
There is also the possibility that this loop is deliberate, in an attempt to block traffic headed towards 'inappropriate' servers.
For further information, contact the Massachusetts Higher Education Computer Network, as they are the registered owners of the two offending routers.
Re: been havin some internet troubles - Negate - 12-13-2009
rawr I was afraid of that but not all the sites that don't work for me are inappropriate I'll just have to wait it out.
Thanks all.

The ARIN entry shows that a Richard W Newton is the registered technician for that address, give him a call at +1-413-545-0015 and ask what is the dealy-o.
Email: r.newton@umassp.edu
