Spot that Disfunction! - Neonie - 12-13-2009 It's PICKACHU! By the way that kamina is actually my cross hair. Wtf is going on? Re: Spot that Disfunction! - Squishy3 - 12-13-2009 I remember someone having Ricky Gervais in their main menu somewhere once. Re: Spot that Disfunction! - CaffeinePowered - 12-13-2009 The furry porn in your screenshot caused spontaneous combustion Re: Spot that Disfunction! - KarthXLR - 12-13-2009 FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! Re: Spot that Disfunction! - copulatingduck - 12-14-2009 your gpu is probably overheating Re: Spot that Disfunction! - Spore - 12-14-2009 (12-14-2009, 03:53 AM)CopulatingDuck link Wrote: your gpu is probably overheating You can tell because most of the HUD seems to be filled with fire. Re: Spot that Disfunction! - K2 - 12-14-2009 Same thing has happened to me a couple times before. Re: Spot that Disfunction! - [fr31ns]Karrde - 12-14-2009 Dysfunction? Well based on the shoddy construction I can see, there's no way that bench would support the Heavy's massive girth. In all seriousness, though looks like GPU overheat, but your TF2 could be fragged to hell. Defrag the cache at least. Re: Spot that Disfunction! - Neonie - 12-14-2009 Whats a GPU (I'm assuming graphics processor in which case you mean my graphics card) ? Also someone mentioned on the server yesterday it might be my RAM. Videocard is the most likely culprit, with RAM being a close 2nd How hot is your GPU and Video RAM getting? Re: Spot that Disfunction! - KorJax - 12-14-2009 This sometimes happens if you alt-tab a lot or other related "memory swapping" activities. Solution? Play in windowed mode or stop alt-tabbing If it randomly happens while you are playing, then it's probably your GPU crapping out or overheating. I never alt-tabbed.... my anti-virus program MAY have taken me out the game for a second or two I'm not sure if that counts. I've also had similar problems with Left 4 Dead 2 where I never alt tab and my computer will just randomly restart and blue screen for a split second so fast I can't read. Re: Spot that Disfunction! - chronomaster - 12-14-2009 I'd put my bet more on RAM, since GPU overheats/breaks usually affect the rendering of a scene (bad/missing polygons, warped but proper textures, bad effects), not improper textures. Though, that could still include Video RAM I suppose. Run Memtest86+ and see what you get back. Also, do you experience problems in photo editors or other non-3d, memory intensive apps? To emphasize my reasoning, my PS3 went through a serious GPU failure. At first you could see rogue polygons flying all over the place, and in the worst phases texture scaling was fucked in XMB, things were being rendered in bad colors, and everything was generally garbled. It was not pretty. Re: Spot that Disfunction! - Benito Mussolini - 12-14-2009 I like how all the "h"s, "l"s, "u"s, "a"s, "o"s, "c"s, "v"s, "w"s, and "p"s are covered in black. Some capital "B" and "U" are invisible too. It's basically what you get from killing demomen as a soldier. |
