How to make a PS3 controller work on your PC? - Neonie - 01-21-2010
Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks to Pig Mask I now have all the Touhou games and I'd really like to use a controller and since the PS3 controller is USB based anyway I thought it would be perfect.
Anyone know how to get it to work?

It doesn't work when I just plug it in. I tried JoytoKey but it was to no avail. I think theres a program that unlocks it or something ???

You can use a PS2 controller if you have a PS2 to USB converter device.

thank you, now i may be able to play a touhou game since I could never remap the buttons and my left arrow key is broken :-X
Try playing one of those games without moving left, it is impossible and frustrating.

What I use is the first x-box controler with a usb plug & theres drivers online that allow the use, @3@;; its what I used for tf2 when my old keyboard crapped out.

Ya my link is an XP-tested only driver. I just kind of assumed no one in their right mind would ever use Vista.
