People on BRBu should be no stranger to Loli Shooters. Deathsmiles is a horizontal dual stick (I'm assuming) shooter. It recently got licensed and got an official publisher in the U.S.

It's going to be retail for an assumed $40. This is definitely something I'm picking up, and something you should pick up too if you like seeing new, quality 2-D stuff come out.

if you're interested in this take a look at mushihimesama futari too, released for 360 with no region encoding, just expensive because you have to import it, but it looks pretty awesome. I've heard good things from people I know who have it

Think about it this way. You pay about $40 for an entire season of an anime. With multiple difficulty levels, characters, reactions (and reaction as such, which is something I love about replaying those games as characters I haven't played as yet, assuming I can actually read it), your going to get a lot of gameplay out of that forty dollars, and your going to spend as much, if not more time playing it then you would watching an anime series.

In the end it's up to you. I'm merely explaining why to me, $40 is a pretty good price.

if I like a series I'm going to buy it, because if I like something, I'm going to watch it. I often wind up rewatching anime series anyway. There is literally no reason to NOT buy a series you like unless you just want to be a total dick and not give the company that's entertaining you money for providing that entertainment.

I can understand watching subs if the anime hasn't been licensed, but saying "NO FUCK YOU" if it's available in the U.S. market with official subs is just INCREDIBLY douchey.

the distributers are saying "no fuck you" to me by making dvds expensive




plus i like living the high life of crime and saying no fuck you back to them and stealing ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING

It's a season though, I could understand if it was like, JUST a movie. But it's not, an entire season of anime is usually around 13 episodes. That's about right if you look at how much any season of an american show costs.

Also, FLCL was shit. Just sayin'. That's all retro goggles bro.

It takes an incredible amount of time to make a good deal of movies too... Large amounts of work are put into both anime and movies.

It's cool that you want to pay for it, but I don't, unless it's truly worth it. And I like to try before I buy.
