Mod Thursdays April 29th - Resistance and Liberation - Mission Difficult - 04-27-2010
This week we're going to be doing Resistance and Liberatio. It's a WWII based mod that shoots for realism. No crosshairs, huds, or death notifications. I think we played this a while back when it was still in early alpha, now it's in a later alpha (soon to be beta) so it should be better the second time around.

I quickly made a game to see the controls and stuff. Definitely has a lot of realism going for it, seems like it would be fun on a small map with tons of people.

Even with 30 people its great. The maps are huge and non-linear so you rarely see many enemies. Got a great team-based vibe to this so I think we'll need to disable alltalk. Not that it matters, I recall you can only communicate with those nearby anyways.

So RnL decided to freeze every time I entered a server, I tried to get on ours about six times. Oh well, if we do this again I'll fresh install before and see if it'll decide to actually work :\

ok, I might suck at TF2, but this, this I can do. Love the lack of crosshairs, ZOMG, you actually have to aim. I need to find myself a more realistic shooter.Â
