The "What are you going to be doing today?" thread! - KorJax - 06-30-2010

A thread where you post about what you want to do, are thinking about doing, or already planning on doing today!

Then laugh at what other people do or do not plan on doing today.

I'll start: Going to head on out to dorthy lane market over in Oakwood to explore the (probably girl-centered) shops around that area of town by myself out of boredom. Because it's a god damn nice day out, and like 75F. Later, who knows? Reading, gaming, building a magic deck, I dunno.

Re: The "What are you going to be doing today?" thread! - KorJax - 06-30-2010

Okay so I learned window shopping by myself totally isn't my thing. Actually it kind of put me in a bum mood :\

Though it didn't help that the shops they had were literally all clothing stoes/spas. Two things that definatly don't interest me

The good news is that I picked up some orange chicken at trader joes that I'll make tonight for $4.99!

Overslept, rushed to class on bike, snuck in 15 minutes late, was apperantly the only one listening to lecture, went to next class, felt weird since I didn't have my project due even though I had an extension, got new assignment, used it as an excuse to make a binary calender, rode home, bought food, watched 2nd to last episode of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, tried to get steam overlay working in Minecraft, failed, raged, then bugged cloud to help seed Red..

Dunno what else today, I never plan more than 10 minutes ahead. :p

Ok, this is not an original thought.  I actually know someone who's done this before, he was a scout sniper, and now he's a Kiowa pilot.  So, they were bored one day, and decided to bust out the NODs, turn the brightness on the tv all the way down, and play SOCOM with night vision.  I'm going to try this with TF later tonight.

Two friends of mine are flying into Omaha at 11:30.

My wife is picking them up and I'm meeting up with them at 1 when I get off work.

Were driving from Omaha to Missouri to buy fireworks, then coming up back through Council Bluffs, Iowa to buy Templeton Rye (it's only sold in Iowa) then taking my car to BMW to get the oil changed.

Then were drinking and hanging out at my in-laws house all weekend drinking and sitting by the pool.

Then levelling a city block with the fireworks that were buying.

You may have to drive around a little while...most stores only get 1-2 bottle shipments of T-Rye. I know we looked for a bottle in Des Moines for my boss and it took three stores to find one.

As for me, I bought Madden 2010 and NHL 2010 yesterday for the Xbox. I’m really tired of desktop gaming, so I’m trying xbox for a little while. Going for a run tonight when it gets cooler.

I've been trying to get the illegal stuff from my wife's grandfather (It's the same recipe but it's still made the "old fashioned way"). The rumor is that the still is nestled inside of a mausoleum somewhere in Carroll County. But, who knows if it's true.

I have no idea what I'm going to be doing. It will probably be raining though, it rains like everyday this time of year here.
