No-CD cracks? - KarthXLR - 08-11-2010

I've looked through the bowels of google and haven't been able to find anything to help my situation out. I'm trying to make a crack for Worms Armageddon, specifically so I can play it at school. I own the game, so I assume this is legal. I've looked at sites for something to help me figure out how to copy a disc (no luck) and other sources just told me how to make a virtual CD (which won't work, considering I'd have to install a CD-mounter at school).

Can anyone help me out?

other info:
It's the Sold-Out software version of the disc and has the most recent patch.
The Computer I'm using at school is running XP.

I'd recommend not doing it, when I was in HS a computer failed and they blamed one of the guys I knew because he installed some games. Well we all did but he was using the particular computer and got caught. They almost expelled him. And that was 10 years ago before everyone went defcon 1 over this shit.

I'm not installing the game, I have it on a flash drive, so any bad crap will most likely happen on my end.

Unless they employ apps like Cisco Security Agent, which will report back to a central server when non-approved applications are used.
Also, I believe it is against forum policy to provide software that will circumvent copy protection.

Should've mentioned I already checked out gamecopyworld, none of their solutions helped. Sad

Also, I doubt they've installed Cisco, as this class has a history of people playing unapproved software (games) on their computer. Hell, last year they installed Counter-Strike on all the computers and had lan matches.

Actually its been ruled in the US courts recently that circumventing copy protection if you own something is not a crime, so as long as Karth owns a legit copy, its not illegal.

Re: No-CD cracks? - Vandamguy - 08-11-2010

mmm

try this on for sizeee

uninstall worms if you have it installed currently.

download and run this program
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Registry-Tweak/Reg-Shot.shtml

run program.

install worms

compare registry info. convert into a .reg file. save for later.

apply most up to date version that a no-cd crack will allow.

apply no-cd crack.

copy worms armageddon folder onto flash drive.
copy .reg file onto flash drive

bring to school

double click .reg file and merge.

double click worms armageddon executable on flash drive.

---

advanced steps: check for path information in the registry file and make sure its not pointing at (example) c:\program files\worms armageddon\ ... since the usb drive will likely be e: or f:
