Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale- CAPITALISM HO! - Surf314 - 09-05-2010 AKA: How to lose your sanity over a girl who demands 40% discounts because she's younger. Recettear is an RPG shop sim where you manage the place. You go out and buy/find inventory, then choose the prices you sell it to customers at. At later levels, customers can even sell items to you, or you can recommend them stuff. Seems simple? Boring? WRONG. What seemed like something that would be fun to play for a few minutes ended up with me replaying the demo five times. There's much more to this than you would think. Hard to explain, but lemme try.
