Safe Mode Not Safe - Sponson - 03-06-2011

My computer kept restarting, returning me an "IRQL Less_than_or_equal" problem. I brought it to Geek Squad and they gave me a quick diagnosis of a corrupted OS, because even Safe Boot crashes.

Totally my fault, I think I got some malware on here while trying to crack Flash CS5 because my google kept redirecting me places. But I thought it wouldn't just make my OS kaputz! Thankfully my OS is on one HDD, while all my music and pictures and movies are on another!

Shit sucks, my Windows 7 cd is at home in another state, and I should probably look into a good anti-virus program while I'm at it.

An IRQ Less-than-or-equal is either caused by bad drivers or bad hardware.

Keep that in mind for the future.

Just set your IRQ to greater than.  Problem solved.

Also if you insist on using warez, get VirtualBox or some other Virtual PC program, and get a stripped down copy of XP installed on it. That way you can run keygens and the like in a Virtual PC environment where the damage that they can do can be rolled back with a button.

Or just buy your software.

Just about every game or piece of software I own is legit. If it's not, it's because I didn't care for it and hardly played/used it.

If everyone was like you, there would be no new software or game development.
