Awesome Metroid 2 remake for PC. Plays a bit like Fusion/Zero mission with crisper controls. This is actually the first part of the game itself and not a tech demo like Metroid: Confrontation. If you like Metroid at all, this is awesome. Kinda wish for the music though he hadn't gone all Metroid Prime sounding. But you can't have it all. Go play. NOW.

Just finished it, wow he did a lot of work fixing up the Metroid AI and giving variation. The alphas have a lot more behavior patterns now. Keeps it fresh so it's not always the same fight.

otherwise it plays like a metroid game. i wish there was an option for 2x/3x/4x instead of stretching manually for video though

Uh keep playing. It goes by areas generally, not each fight. Basically behavior sets within an area and each fight has variations on a theme in terms of where you fight it.
