My $0.02

Case: I have the same one, I really like it, but make sure you're getting a PSU for that price unless you have one sitting around.
Mobo: Durrr, I only buy ASUS. Looks expensive but a Z77 chipset is what I have in my new one that I paid more for (although I got a 5year warranty with mine). ASUS Sabertooth is what I got.
Vidya card: Durrr I've only been buying nVidia for years so I don't know anything about that one.
CPU: good job getting the ivy bridge, I went with a super overpriced i7 and I dont know how the i5's compare because until now I've always run AMD. So durrr.
RAM: looks decent, i went 2x8 because my mobo didn't support quad-channel and because I like to spend money and have lots of epeen RAM

Ivy + Z77 seems like the way to go.
As for i5 vs i7, it depends on the overall budget.

Also ram is like what? 6 bucks a gig now? Get the max the board will take. I went with 4x4gb and am really happy with it.

Videocards end up being a total crapshoot with so many different manufacturers making so many different models and retailers selling them a, so it really comes down to the price/performance ratio of the individual card. The best thing to do is just flip between where ever you are shopping and http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/2012-vga-gpgpu/19-Tom-s-Hardware-Index-B-Performance,2976.html and just calculate the price/score ratio of each card you are considering. Pick the card with the lowest ratio in your price range.

Yeah so i bought everything here, except that i got 4x4gb ram instead of 2x4 and i got this instead for the video card.

About as nervous as a virgin on his wedding night.
