O hai there :3 - RoseSpirit - 07-29-2012 Hi all! I was introduced to this thread by the likes of Caffeine, Karrde, and at0m, so at least for the time being you're stuck with me. ;D I guess I'm more of a fan of the so-called "kiddy" games than PC gaming, due to habit and computer limitations. Still, hopefully we can find something to chat about. :3 Re: O hai there :3 - Gasman - 07-29-2012 How'd you meet Caff and the others? There's also plenty to talk about here, just find a relevant thread and start posting away. I don't post a lot for personal reasons, but I am here daily, as are a lot of others. No excuses about TF2, though. If I could get it working on my old laptop with the proper coaxing, you can as well. Where are you from, any favorite objects/activities you eat/watch/do, cat person/dog person, a/s/l? ...Ohai, I'm Gasman. You can call me Matthew if you wish. I live in the Arizona area and can't think of anything else to say. Re: O hai there :3 - Didzo - 07-29-2012 Hi. I'm Didzo, and welcome to the BRBU forums. Re: O hai there :3 - TOH - 07-29-2012 Nothing wrong with the consoles, I go back to the classic 8-bit and 16-bit classics all the time. But hey, give TF2 a shot, free to play so you can at least see if you can run it. I imagine you met the guys at Otakon? Re: O hai there :3 - at0m - 07-29-2012 Re: O hai there :3 - CaffeinePowered - 07-30-2012 :3 Re: O hai there :3 - RoseSpirit - 07-30-2012 (07-29-2012, 08:33 PM)Gasman link Wrote: How'd you meet Caff and the others? First met Caff through reddit, he and I started chatting a bunch and ended up going to cons together so we could meet up. A side bonus of this was meeting his friends, too. :3 And yes, we were just at Otakon this weekend, but Caff and I have met before. For reference, my laptop can just barely run KOTOR1 without lagging too much. (See? I'm trying!) I challenge you guys to help me figure it out. I'm from Northern California, though I just finished a degree in chemistry from UC Irvine in SoCal. Assuming you in fact meant favorite objects, I'm gonna go with my DS Phat, my mineral/shiny rock collection, and my jewelry collection. If you meant favorite subjects, obviously there's the chemistry, and also Earth science, which was my undergraduate minor. I'm gonna be heading out to New Jersey in a little less than a month, though, to start on a PhD in oceanography from Rutgers. I guess cooking is the only thing that qualifies as an activity I eat? I'm pretty good at it, though. No I will not make you a sandwich. b) At the moment I'm watching Olympic women's tennis, I played in high school and it remains the only sport I can actually get interested in to this day. Other than that I watch The Daily Show/Colbert Report when I remember, anime when I feel like it, Adventure Time and MLP when they're on, and Food Network/Animal Planet the rest of the time. I enjoy playing vidjamagames such as Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, Portal, and the few FF games I've managed to get my hands on (III and X so far). Also, kittenssssssssss. I have always wanted a cat. No dogs plzkthx. 8) O hai Gasman, Didzo, and TOH. :3 Re: O hai there :3 - at0m - 07-30-2012 (07-30-2012, 12:07 PM)RoseSpirit link Wrote::D Re: O hai there :3 - TOH - 07-30-2012 (07-30-2012, 12:07 PM)RoseSpirit link Wrote: I'm gonna be heading out to New Jersey in a little less than a month, though, to start on a PhD in oceanography from Rutgers. What campus did you wind up on? Re: O hai there :3 - RoseSpirit - 07-30-2012 Yep, New Brunswick! I think Cook campus is where the Oceanography department is. They flew me out to take a look at the campus, which was pretty nice, but I was so sleep-deprived from the red-eye flight to get there that not a lot sank in, haha. Re: O hai there :3 - kaese - 07-30-2012 ermagerd Lurrennnn Hi! and welcome! Re: O hai there :3 - ZargonX - 07-30-2012 Ehermagerd!
