Zelda-Like Gamecube Games? - Maxon - 09-29-2012 I remember asking somewhere before for perhaps some ideas of Zelda-similar games for the SNES and found maybe one or two to go with, but now I'm curious to see if there are maybe some more...action/rpg type of games that are maybe similar in the vein of what Zelda brought. It's mostly for my dad who's practically mastered most of the Pre-DS Zelda games and replays them a ton, with him saying Wind Waker is favorite. They don't have to be exactly the same as Zelda, but kinda similar, nothing super difficult in terms of crazy button combos for attacks and no real turn based RPGs. Figured I'd see if I can't get him something new and different for him to enjoy. Wish Skyward Sword and the DS ones didn't require certain gimmicks. Makes it hard for someone older like my dad to play them. Re: Zelda-Like Gamecube Games? - Reevesith - 09-30-2012 There is star fox adventurer that's pretty much Zelda-Like. I heard that one wasn't all that great, but then again, Dad doesn't know Star Fox at all, so it might be alright then lol Re: Zelda-Like Gamecube Games? - K2 - 09-30-2012 Beyond Good and Evil. End of thread. Also I will second Beyond Good and Evil. Also^2 if your dad has a Wii or PS2, Okami. Re: Zelda-Like Gamecube Games? - HeK - 09-30-2012 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tales_(series) ? Re: Zelda-Like Gamecube Games? - Maxon - 09-30-2012 I'll take a look at Tales of Symphonia since it's for GC, though it might be a smidge beyond him. I'll look at Beyond Good and Evil too, something I haven't played myself and might be doable for him. It's tough to say, since he lacks abit of the better coordination for these games, he just recently stopped asking me to come and beat some of these bosses for him lol Starfox Adventure I'll get and I did forget about Okami. That might work for him also since I do have a PS2. Re: Zelda-Like Gamecube Games? - Didzo - 09-30-2012 (09-30-2012, 07:19 PM)Maxon link Wrote: I did forget about Okami.
