CW Thread - Dates & How not to get our Shit Pushed In - CaffeinePowered - 03-15-2015

Anyone interested in regular CW night(s) during the week?

I think we're getting there but there is still a bit to be desired in group coordination/skill if we want to win matches more often.

Suggestion from last night potentially would be to split people into channels based on their actual Lance

Think of it as TF2 a little bit. We have to retreat and advance as a team. We also need to stick together without becoming a deathball. Always try to team up on an enemy, when one mech is cooling down the other should be able to keep up the fire.

Chief thing is I think to play more. A lot of intangibles will only come with practice, and having a full deck of mechs that we're familiar with will go a long way.

This is also true. Once everybody has drop decks that are customized to their liking and playstyle, we'll be in much better shape.

This should be highlighted and underscored.  One of the keys to CW is having your mech built competitively, to your liking, and being comfortable with playing them.

That said, being shitty at something is the first step to being kinda good at something.  I wouldn't mind playing with people who want to play no matter their mechs/skill levels.  Just be mentally prepared to lose and learn from it.
