I still don't know why so many people obsess over gender options in games where choosing an avatar wasn't ever the point. It's like, were they mad that you couldn't choose Lara Croft to be a man too? Or Nathan Drake be a woman? What does it matter?

Oh I agree with you, I'm just pointing out that the first thing i saw about this was this complaint.
Obviously we know Zelda can be a badass (Ala Shiek or via Smash Bros) what people are complaining about is that they won't put link in the supportive role and let you play one of the other roles that are female.
