Temporary Server problems. - KarthXLR - 02-28-2009

Ok, so first off, I have all my ports forwarded on both my firewall and router.

But every time I try to start one, no one can join. Sv_lan is set to 0, hamachi doesn't work, it's like my connection isn't even there.

Dedicated server doesn't work and I don't know why. It starts and just stops. no indication why.

Can someone help a poor karf out?

have you tried having someone else connect to your external IP?
otherwise i would suspect that you improperly set up a static internal network address and port forwarding

try typing heartbeat in console with the server running, see if that helps anything.

if you want, ill be up later tonight i can walk you through everything on vent or skype.

http://www.srcds.com/db/engine.php?subaction=showfull&id=1097362093  There, it's really complicated and takes a long time to set up.  In the end it's worth it.
