Not really, but the low poly skins make it look so. It may be just me, but I <3 early 3D models almost as much as I do 16-bit. It's probably just the nostalgia factor, but to me, stuff like this and MGS1 still looks pretty awesome.

Back on topic though, do skins still not work on our servers? I'd love to try these out, but not nearly enough to give up BRB'U Wink

Heavy's gun looks like a dog carrier with an unusually elaborate lock. Yay 16 bit.

Re: TF2 for the PS1. Sort of. - K2 - 04-29-2009

Saw these a month ago. I really want to try them in game, but I'm pretty sure somebody would have to convert them to the format TF2 uses.

More like Quake Team Fortress... oh wait...

Seriously though, the PS1 couldn't actually handle these (in any quantity), sadly.

Also, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD ;P.

Considering the DS' abysmal polygon budget, I doubt it.  The reason every 3d game has super (usually cute) simplistic designs isn't just for the aesthetic.

Can we agree that it's dreamcast graphics then?

Yes.  And if it was, it would play with the the PC version, to hilarious results, just like QIII.

Yeah it's a shame UTIII for PS3 is the only game to support that since the DC... (I think there may have been another obscure shooter on PS2, but don't remember it).
