TF2 Ping Gone Insane - Kenny Strife - 09-12-2009

I have a hi-speed connection so I usually have low ping on most American servers, but when I tried to play today I noticed that my ping has increased to at least 250 on all servers.  The BRBU servers are around 400.  I'm scanning for malware right now, but you guys had any similar experiences?  Any idea what's going on?

I only use BitTorrent while torrenting.

...And now suddenly my ping is back to normal levels.  So... I suppose it was a ping spike?  Sorry for the disturbance, this can be locked now I suppose, unless you guys want to use it to talk about connection problems or geese or something.

you can lock it by going to "additional options" in a reply or edit box.

it might have been your ISP
about a week ago I had a 4 hour period where my downlink speeds were horribly diminished, and it wasn't my end.

If only you experience the lag, its your ISP, if _everyone_ has it, its the server or the entire game servers databank
