FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - CaffeinePowered - 09-25-2009 Holy shit two in a row? Fail had to pull out this week so that leaves me running it again :-* I really rather liked the 2 class RPS mix, makes things more varied and more interesting so we will probably do that again along with a pug or two. Late last night we played some haarp and found out that you can in fact capture the flag at the last point, its just a very very small capture area behind the desk. The bug on haarp also affects the _NEXT_ map you play on, which would be the screwed up particles, its not the fault of the map maker, but of Valve and hopefully they will patch their particle system soon to better accommodate custom particle effects. I'm down for playing several rounds of this...provided people don't mind having square fire next map. Link to Haarp if you dont have it already Time: 8pm CST Server: Red Version (#1) Password: littlecart Try to come out early and help get a game going on Blue (#2) as well so people who can't get into the main FNF have a place to play. Feel free to invite other non-community friends out too See you all there Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - Neonie - 09-25-2009 Hehe, he had to pull out Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - CaffeinePowered - 09-25-2009 Actually...I have another idea, but I don't think we will do it tonight, perhaps another week I run FNF 'Stacked Teams' 1 Captain - Captain gets their pick of 1/3 - 2/5 of the people in the server. - Other team chooses a 'reasonable' map - If the map is A/D (Goldrush, Dustbowl, etc), the smaller team always attacks - All talk is off to allow for strategery Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - Star Knight - 09-25-2009 Ill be there. Might aswell have an FNF game to celebrate my internet upgrade <3 Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - Badgerman of DOOM - 09-25-2009 Maybe, maybe... Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - Versus - 09-25-2009 nope, gurren lagann movie tonight Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - Luinbariel - 09-25-2009 We won't be there tonight so far as I know; house viewing, then ... SUSHI EATING Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - ZargonX - 09-25-2009 I won't be there, but I do like the Stacked idea. Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - ribozyme - 09-25-2009 An idea I've had that is sorta similar to your Stacked Team idea: On a payload map, attackers get 8 players and are all heavies. The other 16 people defend and must all be scout. The heavies have ranged firepower and the cart to keep them supplied. The scouts have speed and numbers. It would be kinda like survival. To make it even more interesting have a few more heavies switch over to being scouts, but only allow the scouts to use bats Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - Professor Funbucks - 09-26-2009 (09-25-2009, 10:03 AM)Neonie in a Suit link Wrote: Hehe, he had to pull out Re: FNF - 9-25 - Two in a Row? - Versus - 09-26-2009 (09-26-2009, 12:47 PM)Professor Funbucks link Wrote:

this picture owns |
