There was a sourcemod plugin that "denoated" a player as 'the hunted', but this system basically bypasses that via the flag and tying win/loss to someone dropping it, so yes...you can accidentally LOSE if you press L to drop the flag after set up ends. [/quote] Oh wow. This can make it very easy to troll an entire team. One of the things I'm worried about, though, is character classes for the map. In the original Hunted map, I remember it was a team of snipers against a team consisting of medics, soldiers, and the civilian (I can't remember if the HW Guy was included or not). Being able to have any class on the map is going to make it much easier for the assassin team. Imagine trying to get a civilian past a team of engineers with well-placed sentry guns. Re: TF Tuesdays 10-6 : Now with working HUD - backfire - 10-06-2009 Well, even though caff was surfing etf_hunted the entire time on a wave of optimism and nostalgia, it was still pretty bad. Denile was a bit too cramped and galara was... yeah... :-\ Eh, it was fun all in all.. By the way though, anyone know about any of those swamp maps from that contest tf2maps had? Hunted could work. I honestly think they need to bring back sewers and widen some of the areas to counteract the spammy nature of TF2. I think we can all agree that TFC had much more precision. Even the rockets didn't have huge AOE like TF2. Dump the one person wide areas too. Rather easy to body block things. Denile can take it or leave it after some bug fixing. Not my favorite, but I wouldn't leave either. Meridian was nicely updated. I still wish he'd addressed the red intel room near the big robot (still too hard to defend in comparison to BLU's intel rooms). But good fun. <3 Liberty Prime ;P |
