Not exactly new maps, but two of the maps in the game are getting reused for their opposite game types. The Conquest map with the Dam will now be Rush usable and that long uber tank map for Rush in the desert and then the harbor will be conquest usable.
And I think VIP is just the limited edition code that came with the game or am I thinking of something else so this won't be a widely available map?
Also the article talks about DLC that isn't just about weapons. They want to keep map stuff free so everyone can play, but I'm guessing maybe they'll bring out new weapons and gear for a price? That's my guess. I'm hoping so, cause I don't really want to see more singleplayer stuff really lol

The VIP stuff is only for the consoles. We PC folks get the maps fo' free.
