I really hope swiftwater has become less of an uber sentry fuckfest that requires somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 ubers to break.  Oh and that red spawn which becomes a death trap.  And getting stuck on the same spawn's doors.

The Coldfront maps were awesome, although at some points it could use a little adjusting to make for defense improvements.

Scrapyard was a LOAD of crap. It has interesting environment with the water causing you damage and all, but the defensive team can spawn camp you, or even GET INTO your spawn. I think scrapyard was a complete bust, but i also liked the coldfront maps.

Except for the King of the Hill round. Whoever controls the middle first can just spam down the 3 small corridors and by the time the advancing team gets to the point they are already severely injured. It's a spamfest there.

There's already a b4 of coldfront out and Im very willing to put this on rotation, however, with a caveat. In that I'd like to see more, better, and earlier seeding.  Wink

This seem to have been going better recently without me having to take on the bulk of seeding responsiblities and I'd really like to thank Moosendoo, Bonesinger, and everyone else that's stepped up to seed.


The more often I see a full server, the more confident I can be in sticking more custom maps back onto the rotation in place of stocks. We had a great fight going on Science2 right before TFT with a lot of pubs actually and that was some good fun. If we start getting numbers back up I'd like to consider working some of the following back into rotation...

pl_swiftwater (new ver from tonight)
cp_mainline
cp_roswell
cp_vector
ctf_haarp
koth_moonshine

Any feed back on this would be appreciated...

The problem is still keeping the server full, in January I added a bunch of customs, it was fine for a while...then dropped off Sad

Yeah, times have been tough lately for keeping people on customs (even on stocks too, now that I think of it).  I really hope the engy update isn't too far away so a good chunk of regulars will come back again.

Well, last night, we proved that at least 25% of maps are completely terrible ;P  We need to keep scrapheap on the server for some LOL FNF night.
