ZMM 5/10- Follow the Liter - backfire - 05-07-2010 Well, I just wait until the next mutation's posted and see if it's 8 player or not, then go from there. Luckly, this week it is, so we're doin it!

Follow the Liter Scavenge one can at a time. No more fighting over what cans to grab first. This Mutation spawns only one group of cans at a time, so survivors know exactly where to go. There is only one problem: the Infected know exactly where they are going. Sounds pretty interesting actually. Thing I hated about scavenge was the lack of coordination we always have and end up splitting into 2 groups. A tactic that works decently with bot SI, but with actual human intelligence, well... we don't last long. Of course, the lack of options means the SI will be able to ambush at every spot, but that's what makes this game fun, right?

I've been looking at these custom mutations and some of them look really fun. Thinking I can try to get one of these going some week. Not sure how many support 8 players, but looking at stuff like Tank Run, I gotta try that out sometime. Game starts at 8pm CST (That's the normal TFT/FNF time) so try to show up on time so we can avoid spending a half-hour waiting for people. Shout out if you can make it, and make sure to spam invites when you show. Also, join the BRB, 4 Dead steam group to keep up on announcements and whatnot. Also... anyone know a way of setting bbc tables to use a set width or something? Re: ZMM 5/10- Follow the Liter - KarthXLR - 05-07-2010 I am replying to this. Also lets try this out. Re: ZMM 5/10- Follow the Liter - Coppanuva - 05-09-2010 I'll swing by for a few rounds. I can't play a ton since I have an AP Exam the next day I might be studying for (but then again, who needs to study for Environmental Science?) but I'd like to try it out if possible. Re: ZMM 5/10- Follow the Liter - CaffeinePowered - 05-09-2010 This actually sounds pretty cool Re: ZMM 5/10- Follow the Liter - backfire - 05-10-2010 Gah, steam's still down. Can you still connect to friend's games when steam's down or are we basicly screwed ;_; Edit RIGHT AS I POST THAT steam comes back on... Re: ZMM 5/10- Follow the Liter - backfire - 05-10-2010 Alright, that was actually pretty fun. Defiantly more challenging on for the infected since they don't all split up, but besides the lack of hordes in some maps, I liked it. I was sorta hopin to do at least 2 (first map didn't count), but after that round in The Passing, guess I was probably the only one up for another game :/ Meh, I'll just get some people together for another game sometime this week.
