What I really love about playing on the brb.u servers - Hobospartan - 01-06-2011
Team stacks.
There's just something beautiful about highly skilled players all joining the same team to prove that they're better than people who aren't as good as them. Especially when they all go sniper and are able to kill you from all the way across the map with two clicks. It's just so much fun to step out of spawn and be under fire from several of the best snipers in tf2.
Just glad that we have a community and admins that promote this kind of behavior.

Could be worse. Could be a stack of sco-Oh wait. Scouts have a hard counter besides themselves.
Snipers have the same problem as soldiers to me, the only way to effectively counter them is by playing one.
Edit: Although, I am kinda curious how well a FOS heavy could stand up against snipers plucking away at him, disregarding other teammates, of course.

Couldn't take 5 steps within their field of vision without being headshotted. I don't thing any of them had their scopes up for even more than a second.
Gotta love the pack of cowards huh? DOES EVERYONE ELSE NOW SEE WHY I HATE SNIPERS??

But seriously. Â Playing against liquid is fine. Â Playing against liquid and versus is irritating.
Playing against four snipers at least as good as them is just not fun. Â Plain and simple. Â ESPECIALLY when they absolutely refuse to join separate teams, like a group of little kids. Â Doubly so when they pull that bullshit for three-four maps in a fucking row. Â I think you're the only one of them who actually played on a different team, Versus.

yeah, fuck those cowards!! gutless pricks. they deserve not even .5 pts for a kill. they dont put their kd ratio on the line EVERY SINGLE SPAWN. unlike the boys of the fightin 2nd airborne!! now thats a mans class. nothing says "courage" like self inflicted dmg in a bideo game

Auto-Assign, always, if you have admin authority you should be leading by example. I did notice you guys last night before coming into Red on some 32 man badwater server, please tell me where the challenge is in stacking a scrub server.
I can't tell how much of what hobo is say in sarcasm or not, but we've had this discussion before on a serious note, its just not cool.

Hobo is quite serious. I was in for that game as well, and it was stack-tastic. We lost a good chunk of player to ragequits, and what fun is that?

I think it was about sometime from 11:30 CST and went on for a few maps. Liquid and his clan would all join the same team, all go sniper, and pretty much deny anyone from sticking their head out the door.
You try taking on one sniper, get quick-scoped by one of the other two.

I only stack when I'm sick of getting raped by a certain player. Usually Liquid, Merc, and War. Otherwise I usually just join whatever team or if there's a specific color I like playing on a map

If Im up, please let me know the next time this happens, I really don't care what people do on other servers, but i very much ascribe to a "Don't shit where you sleep" policy when it comes to things like this.

Tho seriously, auto-team is the only way. That and manual team balancing.
