An interesting thought about pl maps from Robin - cbre88x - 06-19-2008

I've been bored while waiting on the big update..so unfortunately I found it in my heart to browse the Steam forums..ew. But I did find this gem.

Thing is..the "fortress" idea has already been implemented..very interesting actually. It's probably a smaller scale than what Robin was talking about, but it was still an interesting pl map. Let me share.

Agreed on the waiting on update nonsense.  Do they release at a certain time or is it just "whenever".  I noticed the PSN updates around noon PDT---ish  somewhere between noon and 3 (unless there's a delay)

Steam forums are borked, Deathkiller was working on a similar idea to that dreadnought map. I also have another idea for a payload map, but I have to see if you can have a cart for the red team as well Wink

By the way..I did see a skin for a red bomb and neutral bomb on that website if that helps any.

Definently ( can't spell that word for beans) looks interesting. I wonder if Valve has tried this before?

I actually had a dream out PL yesterday.

It involved 2 ideas actually

The first involved a concept from TFC.

It would be a Neutral cart...And teams would try to push it to the others side. Would take lots of coodination, and team effort.

Second, would be a double cart type thing, where the map would be split in half, one for red, and one for blue, and you could either attack (Push cart) or defend, (Stop red from pushing theirs)
