server death - matter11 - 06-27-2011 If it's not hackers then it's people with over 200 ping. more people need to have access to ban/kick and voteban/votekick needs to be added back on the servers asap. Re: server death - Vongore - 06-27-2011 I agree with the hackers, but as for the new kids with 200+ ping (ahem) let them play, the novelty will run out after a couple weeks, and if it doesn't, at least they'll know how to play Re: server death - KarthXLR - 06-27-2011 This is what happens with F2P games, especially less than a week after the release to the public. Give it a month's time, it'll dissipate. Re: server death - CaffeinePowered - 06-27-2011 Hackers -> Message an Admin, we have lots of them High Ping -> Kicking or banning people because of this sets a bad precedent, we wouldn't have people like Vongore around if we booted high pingers (<3 you Vongore) Vote kick/ban are disabled for a very good reason Re: server death - Ianki - 06-27-2011 (06-27-2011, 03:23 PM)Caffeine link Wrote: Hackers -> Message an Admin, we have lots of them (04-03-2008, 06:57 PM)Caffeine link Wrote: Top Tier - Full Access This list isn't even up to date, but message me at anytime and i can get in. usually not too busy and online most of the time. Re: server death - CaffeinePowered - 06-27-2011 Yea I need to go into the file and see who has admin, actually a fair amount of those people are still around Re: server death - Versus - 06-27-2011 yeah that list is super old Re: server death - matter11 - 06-27-2011 When I was on blue earlier today half the people had over 200 ping. so many people were popping around that I asked them to find a new server and make everyone happy but they wouldn't. Were they hacking? Breaking the rules? If you're really that bothered by it, just leave. Our admins aren't going to kick or ban people solely for having a high latency. Maybe they didn't fully choose their situation, so why fault them for it? And maybe these are people who can be valuable members of the community, too. We can always use good people to regularly hang around. Re: server death - Neptune - 06-27-2011 Depending on the day, my ping could be 200+ and I live in the States, fercrissake. Ping isn't the issue. Just roll them a few times and they'll leave. Or they'll get better and you'll leave. ;D Re: server death - Didzo - 06-27-2011 (06-27-2011, 05:32 PM)Karth link Wrote: [quote author=matter11 link=topic=5742.msg212298#msg212298 date=1309213690]Why should they? And Blue has issues even when everyone has normal ping. Re: server death - Kirby - 06-27-2011 Here's the admin list as it currently appears on red. I was under the impression they were causing the problems on blue. so why hasn't blue been fixed? Re: Re: server death - KarthXLR - 06-27-2011 You can't fix a company you don't own.
