The lancers (also known as Dragon Knights or Dragoons) have an affinity for dragon killing through their spears and polearms, and often wear dragonesque gear. Their main ability is "Jump", in which they leap to great heights, crashing down upon their enemies with their spears.
Hello everyone,
This FNF I am going to conduct something of an experiment. We will be holding 2 battle royales, assuming the role of the lancer. What I mean by this is that we will all be engaging in airborne combat aided by the use of jumpers and blades. Here is the rundown and a quick explanation:
We'll get rid of our acrophobia (and hopefully some pubbers) with pl_cashworks.
We will begin battle on in the arena of koth_nucleus, following "Lancer's Rules".
We will move to cp_badlands, also observing "Lancer's Rules".
We will open the server on a to be determined map.
Lancer's Rules
Only two classes are allowed, Soldier and Demoman. The Rocket Jumper or Sticky Jumper must be equipped (more on this below), and no offensive projectiles may be equipped, so no damaging rockets or stickies, no grenades or shotguns. Any offensive damage must be dealt by melee weapons or mantreads.
I know this seems at an initial glance to be completely retarded, but you'll be surprised what happens when multiple players engage in airborne duels. Expect enemies to come at you from every direction and for chases to progress at high speed and intensity. Now, I know many of you do not have sticky jumpers or rocket jumpers. So, to keep people interested and get this going, I will be providing you all with a sticky jumper or rocket jumper, your choice. You must simply register, confirming your attendance if you want a sticky or rocket jumper. I will purchase them in groups of 5 as people register (or as FNF hits) and will distribute them pre-FNF or during Cashworks to everyone that's in-server. This is coming out of my pocket, so please register only if you are certain to attend.

Done. I'm only "registering" people I need to buy items for, since no one else is obligated to show.
Forgot to mention that this will be a passworded event; because of the high degree of cooperation needed I might have to kick unresponsive randos outright, but we'll see.
