Favorite Movie Villains - Mission Difficult - 04-03-2008 Just curious what everyones favorite movie villains are. My top three: -Roy Batty from Blade Runner -Lord John Whorfin / Dr. Emilio Lizardo from The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension -The Plague from Hackers (such a goofball) Re: Favorite Movie Villains - Eschatos - 04-03-2008 Never seen any of those. That makes me sad. Re: Favorite Movie Villains - exanimo - 04-03-2008 Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man from GhostBusters Re: Favorite Movie Villains - Tragic Hero - 04-03-2008 Roy Batty for the win. Also, I think Bricktop from Snatch makes an excellent villain and so does Jonny Ringo from Tombstone. Re: Favorite Movie Villains - Black Aspen - 04-04-2008 Unicron, The Transformers: The Movie Patrick Bateman (If that'll count), American Psycho Bullet Tooth Tony, Snatch. Betty, Kung Pow: Enter the Fist Re: Favorite Movie Villains - CaffeinePowered - 04-04-2008 (04-04-2008, 12:03 AM)Black Aspen link Wrote:Unicron, The Transformers: The Movie Wasn't he voiced by the godfather himself? Re: Favorite Movie Villains - Kor - 04-04-2008 I'll like just about anyone that fits the anti-villain subtype. Noble bad guys really suck you into a story. Re: Favorite Movie Villains - exanimo - 04-04-2008 I completely and totally agree with Kor. Noble villains make you think twice about good and evil and the fine line that lies between. So ********** in the upcoming Watchmen movie = bestest villian ever. Assuming they don't fuck it up, which is a big if. edit: oh shit I almost spoiled it for those of you who haven't read it Re: Favorite Movie Villains - Chooly - 04-04-2008 The Villains From Dark City Hands Down Re: Favorite Movie Villains - Mission Difficult - 04-04-2008 (04-04-2008, 08:04 AM)Kor link Wrote:I'll like just about anyone that fits the anti-villain subtype. Re: Favorite Movie Villains - Kor - 04-04-2008 See, Hans was just looking for a retirement fund, then he started holding guns to chicks heads; Nobility = toast. I'm trying to recall the last solid anti-villain performance I saw; The best in recent memory is Alfred Molina as Doc Oc in Spiderman 2. I'm sure there's better examples, I just can't recall any due to my memory not wasting too much space on movie trivia :X Re: Favorite Movie Villains - HuckBerryGee - 04-04-2008 Kaiser Soze in The Usual Suspects Alex DeLarge in Clockwork Orange Elle Driver in Kill Bill Kakihara in Ichi The killer Tyler Durden in Fightclub Jules Winnfield in Pulp Fiction Woo-Jin Lee in Oldboy Vincent in Collateral (sure Tom Cruise's a douche, but that guy was badass) Castor Troy in Face Off And fuck yeah, Patrick Bateman(God almighty Christian Bale) in American Psycho Re: Favorite Movie Villains - Tragic Hero - 04-04-2008 I don't like how everyone is considering Bateman as a villain. Granted he was a "bad guy" but when I think of villains I think of Antagonists, not protagonists with sinister motives. Re: Favorite Movie Villains - HuckBerryGee - 04-04-2008 (04-04-2008, 02:31 PM)Tragic Hero link Wrote:I don't like how everyone is considering Bateman as a villain. Granted he was a "bad guy" but when I think of villains I think of Antagonists, not protagonists with sinister motives.ÂIn my book, Bateman is both the protagonist and the antagonist, he's the driving force against himself. He's devoted to committing wicked crimes, fucking and then killing a prostitute with a chainsaw wearing only sneakers and socks. He also takes his time to put on a raincoat before killing his victim and enjoys a cigar afterwards. That, for me, secures him as a villain. Re: Favorite Movie Villains - CaffeinePowered - 04-04-2008 A TV show is fine too Re: Favorite Movie Villains - Versus - 04-04-2008 Lecter.
