OH HAI DIDN'T C U THAR - ToiletDuck - 05-22-2008

So apparently I'm an old timer and need to make an introduction.

Dear Reader,

Well where to start, my real name is Marc in case you want to call me that instead of specifying a certain duck everytime you say it into the mic on vent or in game (I still take a second to figure out if someone is talking to me or another various duck after saying 'duck').

I got my first video game machine (NES) when I was about 6 and fell in love with the first Mario, and then eventually excite bike, river city ransom (which i still play once in a while to this day), the adventures of bayou billy (lol), ninja gaiden, nintendo world cup soccer (awesome game, you can knock out players until the end of the half), rampage, little nemo, and various others. Then my tree goes as follows: Genesis -> GameGear -> PC -> N64 -> Dreamcast -> GBA -> Wii -> 360. Nowadays I'm pretty much PC only.

I also play a lot of soccer, which is basically why I've been missing out on a lot of gaming lately as I'm on 3 teams this season. I'm not a pro or anything but I have a ton of fun playing and have a pretty wicked passing ability for setting up those goals ;D

Anyway, some other interesting tidbits:

Music: Love it, I listen to all different types of Metal, but lately I've had a huge fever for indie type rock, it's just too damn catchy. I'm also a sucker for 8bit music (no remix shit, just the original stuff). As for favourite band, that's reserved for Between the Buried and Me (prog metalcore).

Hobbies: Scrounging up money slowly and wasting it on my cars, a 2003 Subaru WRX and a 1989 Nissan 240sx. I'm also somewhat artistic and have always been a doodler, I'll probably try to draw up some 8bit TF2 characters for some new sprays in the fashion of the CS 8bit characters I made for a game that probably won't exist (you can see them in my dtoid blog header). Maybe there will be an animation with them somewhere down the road :-*

I'm gonna leave it off there

Sweet...didn't know you were a "football" fan.  I used to play in an indoor league.  I can pass and cross really good (I can actually manage some pretty good curl once in a while) but my shooting abilities are terrible. 

But I digress...
