Gettin' Out da Country - cannedpeahes - 06-14-2008
Just letting you guys know, you won't be seeing much of me over the next two weeks and two days. I'm going to be traveling in Germany, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. Maybe seeing a bit of Ainmosni, and since alcohol is involved, it'll probably be more than I need to see.Â

Yep, got a five day Eurail pass. Meaning we can travel any five days in those two weeks.
Lucky I found something that can use the series of tubes! Just got an XPSm1530, and this is now just two days before I go. Graduation is fucking awesome.

Yeah, I did the same thing with a BritRail pass a few years ago. It's really the best way to get around, and is usually a pretty sweet deal for travelers.Â

Hey don't look at me, i've went to Denmark 2 summers ago but besides that i'm locked in this country.
I do however head out to conferences maybe three times a year. Florida last may, Portland this august, and Chicago this November. Maybe if i can swing it, next year's European vision conference is in Amsterdam. Wonderful, science can pay.
Have fun though Cannedpeaches, Europe is great fun. I would definitely recommend taking a train from Germany up to Copenhagen, and just biking around for two days. It's maybe one of my favorite cities ever.Â

I'm spending two days in Amsterdam, counting today. Or so we think. Depends on how we - my friend David (who y'all actuallz have played with more than you think) and myself feel about the city, really.
I think the first night we're staying in the Shelter Jordan. After that, I have no idea. All the other good places are booked right full.
