So I still have a HL1:E1 gift. And I'm sure a lot of you have free gifts, or may at some point just want to give away free stuffs (maybe old crufty hardware like that video card once you get a new one Scotty?)
If you want something that's been posted, just say so I guess.
When asking for a specific item, be sure to QUOTE the person whom offered it first, send them steam messages, and PM them as well. Otherwise your requests will likely go unanswered! If they don't respond quickly, simply move on to the next person.
It would also help if, once you've gotten rid of your free games, you come and strikeout your post, so that we know said gift is no longer available.
Hopefully then you and said poster can work out how the free gift is given (PM's if you have to give a mailing address)
So, who wants HL1:E1?

The best way to get free shit is to make a request (if it's reasonable). Otherwise, wait for someone to give their shit away here.

I think this idea could be extended further. Some years back, a forum I post on set up a Pay It Forward thread wherein people just posted anything they no longer wanted (rekkids, books, electronic equipment, etc) and anyone could claim. Worked really well for a while, nice community spirit and people even started offering custom artworks and such. There was always a loose, unspoken law that you couldn't claim until you'd broken your offering virginity but everyone was so into it that that never even had to be pointed out.
Also, I has a HL2 spare.
