Ancient epox motherboard, can't seem to get ethernet working. - hawtpawkithero - 07-27-2008

So here's my motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813123001

The problem is, i can't get my ethernet port to show up in vista. I can't get drivers off of the epox website because the company went under 2 years ago and their website isn't hosting any files any more. I tried the nvidia nforce4 AMD SLI drivers from the nvidia site, but even after i install/restart there's no sign of my ethernet port in vista; not even the Device Manager shows it. Where can i get drivers of some sort for the ethernet port?

you may have checked this, but the first thing I would look at is whether the ethernet is switched on in bios.

When did you lose the ethernet?

Believe it or not, i just looked and it was switched off.
