Your Choice, there are helluva FPS, some of them are fun even if they are on console and you will play with 15 year old everytime you play on multiplayer Halo 3
Both Gears of War. And you decide the rest, most are multiconsole

I love my 360, i think the arcade games can be fantastic and netflix streaming really puts it over the top. Also, despite having played a great deal of time in high school playing ps1 and ps2 in college, i still find the 360 controller to feel better in my hand.

I got one because the premium package was $250 if I bought it all on ebay and got its red ring fixed. I wouldn't recommend it unless theres some must have exclusive game, a lot of the better games are going to come out on PC anyway.

I purchased an Arcade (with HDMIÂ ;D ) for $150 from Dell, then a 20gb HD from Microsoft for $20.
Add in a $10 HDMI cable, and a bunch of games from the local buy/sell forum (mint guitar hero 2&3 and wireless controller for $50 anyone?)
I mainly got it to replace my aging classic Xbox as a high-definition media player, but cheap access to used games has opened other doors.
I now cannot stop playing Mass Effect.
(Prices in Canadian Monopoly money, so multiply everything by 0.8 to get devalued monochrome greenback prices)

it really is becoming a media/entertainment center piece
i really like the ability to download trial games for XBLA games and demos for most games on xbox live.
both of the gears of war games are excellent
i would also recommend Geometry Wars Evolved 2 if you want to get high on your TV screen
i was with sony until the ps3 came out and i found the xbox and xbox 360 to simply be more fun. Its all about being able to play gears and stuff with friends.

Really depends. If you like the games there are plenty to get for cheap. I know I don't regret my 360 purchase.
As for games... Dead Rising, Earth Defense Force, and even Gears of War 1 can all be gotten pretty cheap now. Of course there is Rock Band / Guitar Hero if you like that sort of thing, and plenty of good XBLA arcade games to play if you don't mind dealing with that bullshit monopoly money system that Microsoft insists on pushing.
I know I don't regret my 360 purchase at all, and if I could be arsed to beat Mario Galaxy I'm actually quite tempted to try and sell my Wii for massive profits over the holidays. How they can still be in such hot demand after two years is beyond me, but I'm not going to complain.
