Does this mean I won't get to see Radscorpians flying across the horizon anymore?  I'll miss that.

Fixed issue where certain NPCs would occasionally disappear from the game.

So....if I go to the Lincoln memorial the freed slaves will actually be there

Yeah I thought that was a bug too.  It turns out it just actually takes them a really long time to get there.  Like 2-3 days or something.  At least that's what happened to me.

That bugfix probably has to do with things like NPC's killing themselves by falling off of edges, which I suppose could have happened with the slaves too.  Also it's awesome they had to wait to get the patch through console certs before releasing it for PC.  Also I stopped caring about this game a while ago, so I don't really mind.

I think I am about 25-30 hours in and doing the Nuka-Cola Challenge.

Funny because the Nuka Cola Challenge is where I quit of my last playthrough.

I'm at the same spot but I got distracted by culdcept saga.

Re: Huge Fallout 3 fix today. *bug list inside* - KorJax - 01-13-2009

Nuka Cola challenge was boring, so I just skipped that and ran off to explore the wastes.  Dropped a good 25-30 hours of game in and haven't even touched the northern part of the map.

In any case, none of these bugs have ever effected me so I might as well pass on this patch.  Now, if it fixed the lag time when going into vats mode, then I'll jump on it.

I do admit I have cheated though in my F3 experience... from the very start I've had mods running that tweak things to my liking (like a slower leveling mod+ other misc tweaks and a rarer items mod).

There's a finite number of quantum bottles in the world, if you have drunk too many the quest is uncompletable

What really sucks is its used in the best grenades in the game.  So I may have already used a bunch.  I think I used 5-8.

You can always spawn them via console, but its kind of bogus that you cant buy them from merchants

Apparently the patch will reset your character to level one and strip you of all your items...

Quote:EVERYTHING! My suit of T-51b power armor, all my weapons, caps, everything! Sad
Has this happened to anyone else?

And i'm level one again, all my SPECIAL stuff is set to 5, and all my skills are set to the same as when I left the Vault.

There's more than twice as many Nuka Cola bottles in the game as is necessary for the quest.  Also, don't make Nuka Grenades or Bottlecap Mines until you get two or three of the schematic.  If you have two schematics you get two grenades/mines every time, and same for three.

Isn't that called "make a separate save game at the end of the tutorial right before that bit where you can reassign your character"?
