Greetings from [AoC] - Superior Kyle - 02-16-2009

Hi folks,

This is Superior Kyle from Aged in Oak Casks. I see we are going to be playing pretty soon in the TWL highlander ladder, so i felt i would stop by and introduce myself and maybe throw out a little bit of info about us for those of you who don't really know us.

Were a mostly east coast team with a few central and west coast folks mixed in with us. We have a casual group of players and 2 competitive teams that we field. In case anyone was wondering, our main competitive team has these tage [AoC], 2nd competitive team has these tags |AoC|·, and the casual players wear these |AoC|.

Pretty much, we are always available for a 6v6 match of some sort, whether its with our 1st, 2nd, or casual team. Feel free to add me to your friends list (Steam id is Kyleroket) and lets get a scrim going sometime.

Anyhow, look forward to slugging it out with you folks real soon Wink

Re: Greetings from [AoC] - Ianki - 02-16-2009

Hah, welcome.  You preempted my Highlander post, since you guys haven't picked between friday and sunday yet.

We're a pretty casual group, with one or two semi-serious splinter groups that have formed around the community (one being BNGD), so we don't have a formal 6v6 scrim team set up, but we are always down for pick up games at most times.  You can add me (steam id Ianki) or CopulatingDuck about the highlander match, and just make posts in here, or stop by our IRC channel sometime if you want to schedule a causal pick-up scrim sometime.

Also, anyone from your community is more than welcome to come to our weekly TF2 play events.  We play every tuesday at 9est, trying out 3 or so new maps that have been posted to fpsbannana, and friday nights for friday night fights at 9est, which can either be chaos or semi-cereal depending on the mood and sobriety of the crowd at the time.

Sample posts of these events can be seen here and here
