Time once again for some FNF: PC style!

We have a few new hosts to report. First off is Eschatos, who would like to play some Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Unfortunately he didn't say when he was willing to play, so if you are interested make sure to get a hold of him!

Up second is Karth who wants to play some Worms: Armageddon. If you have this game, make sure it is patched to version 3.6.29.0. He is looking to start around the typical FNF start time of 8pm cst, but is willing to play other times if there is interest. If you're looking for someone to play with come to the BRB, Uninstalling Vent server message myself or Karth for the Vent information.

Team Fortress 2 players get a bit of a change of pace this week, which is actually a throwback to FNFs of old. Seems I forgotten what FNFs used to be out, which was semi-serious play with the top maps on the server and/or good recent additions. As such I've recruited server admins Ianki and Copulating Duck to run things for tonight. They will be keeping the action hot with some semi-serious pickup games, and possibly followed with some usually lulz-worthy RPS action.

I will likely be floating between Worms, TF2, and L4D, and look forward to seeing you all out tonight! Smile

A semi-solid week of furniture moving, junk removing and carpet shampooing is over.  Expect me in TF2.

Re: FNF 2009/02/20 - Already Forgotten About Valentine's Day Edition - Versus - 02-20-2009

mark me for tf2, as long as we don't decide on some terrible custom for a pickup...

Re: FNF 2009/02/20 - Already Forgotten About Valentine's Day Edition - Mission Difficult - 02-20-2009

Probably TF2.

Am I the only one up for some L4D?

I'd L4D, but I'm not in the group.

Re: FNF 2009/02/20 - Already Forgotten About Valentine's Day Edition - KarthXLR - 02-20-2009

Update: Torrenting isn't an option for Worms.

I really want to get another round going, so if you want to play, I recommend getting a copy. It's really a great game single player or multiplayer, so please, consider it.

You can get worms armageddon off of ebay with worms 2 for about 15-20 bucks.

I hope to see you guys next week!

It's invite only Kor.

I'm going to be brutally honest; what little of FNF I attended tonight kind of sucked.

It was really poorly organized (it took over ten minutes to PLAN one pickup) and it was too srs bsnss for what I am used to on a Friday.

I'm probably going to hear all kinds of bla bla bla for it, but that's what I felt.

Re: FNF 2009/02/20 - Already Forgotten About Valentine's Day Edition - Versus - 02-20-2009

pickups take a while. :Smile

I thought this FNF was the best one in quite some time. good work duck/ianki.

Re: FNF 2009/02/20 - Already Forgotten About Valentine's Day Edition - Mission Difficult - 02-20-2009

I thought it was pretty lame up until we did RPS on Badwater. That part was good.

Re: FNF 2009/02/20 - Already Forgotten About Valentine's Day Edition - Ianki - 02-20-2009

Also, as far as the planning for the pick-ups, we were thinking of just doing a !votescramble before we start a map if we ever do this again, but keep it semi-serious, to keep things a little quick paced but super cereal

RPS was more fun than I thought RPS could be.

I was quite happy to have something at least sort of competitive for once, as I usually get bored by forced shananigans and leave pretty quickly normally.Â
