If at all possible, you're going to need to uninstall your drivers, and get a new card. That's my opinion on it at least. Bingo. One extra drive isn't going to break the bank, and you will be glad you did, plus almost every consumer-level RAID controller that supports raid-5, now supports raid-6. Most corporations use SANs with virtual disk groups. They are magical. |
